A landmark year for N.Y.C., 2007 saw the completion of the full- length cd “ZYKO”. This CD guarantees to deliver on all the slammin’ hype that follows N.Y.C. At press time the CD is being mastered by Grammy- nominated engineer Mike Lazer at Paramount Studios. Look for many upcoming endorser ads supporting the release with a nationwide tour to follow.
This year also saw 17 guitar clinics featuring Tommy. After doing 7 Southern California Sam Ash clinics (April), the response was so overwhelming that ESP and Morley sent Tommy to Florida in August to do 5 more Sam Ash clinics. After more positive reviews poured in, ESP sent Tommy back to Florida for 5 more clinics at big independent dealers.
More ESP clinics are planned/confirmed for 2008.
Also on the promotion end, GHS Strings has printed/pictured the cover of Tommy’s instructional DVD “Metal Primer” along with N.Y.C. links inside 60,000 sets of strings currently shipping worldwide. This coincides with a full page feature ad set to run very soon.
N.Y.C.’s newest endorser Guitar Wheel has totally ramped up the promo game. In addition to running ads with Tommy consistently through ‘07 in Guitar World and Guitar Player, he has also contributed a feature lesson to their upcoming Guitar Wheel book soon to be published by Hal Leonard. In June Tommy was personally asked by George Lynch to participate as a bh guest instructor at his LA Dojo Summit for his online teaching academy. The event was a huge success and future summits are planned.
Also look for Chaz to be featured in an online eBay auction sponsored by Pintech Percussion. This promotion includes autographed N.Y.C. and Pintech merchandise to be auctioned off for charity. Past auction participants include Lamb of God, Linkin Park, Hootie and The Blowfish and Seether among others.

N.Y.C. has been buried underground busy in the studio writing and recording the new CD "Zyko". The album is currently being prepared to be mixed. After mixing, it will be mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Mike Lazer. Keep an eye out for endorser ads in major magazines supporting this worldwide release.
Upcoming N.Y.C. shows and tours are also in the works, and Tommy will be back in Florida doing more clinics for ESP/Morley in early Nov. 07. (See dates below). These upcoming clinics are in response to the huge success of the recent Sam Ash clinics in California and Florida.

The tour will kick off in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 14th

These stations in addition to 96.3 The Zone ( Billings, MT), 92.7 The Fly (Wichita, KS) and 100.3 The Edge ( Tulsa, OK) were among the many stations who supported NYC on the tour which featured shows with Dragonlord and Chiamara.
The tour was further "hyped" with Multiple show giveaways from N.Y.C. endorsers Morley, GHS, Digitech and Kordex. As always, the Jagermeister swag was “flowin’” alongside the "Monster" giveaways. NYC tour dates also appeared on the website of their endorser VestalWatches and were listed on Pollstar.
Look for N.Y.C. to be playing in Austin, Texas during the South by Southwest convention on the Monster Energy Showcase stage and at future Monster events as well.
Also confirmed and "in the works" is N.Y.C.'s music to appear on "select" upcoming MTV reality shows. Stay tuned for more info.

NYC has caught the attention
of renowned entertainment attorney Owen Sloane of the firm
Berger Kahn. This interest was formed upon Sloane's excitement
about the new disc and is sure to produce awesome results.
On the touring front, NYC was busy in 2003 slammin' shows in Colorado and Montana, working with the booking agency Harsh Entertainment (Illinois/Montana). Included in the tour was a benefit for the Children's Hospital in Denver, which featured product giveaways from NYC's full endorsers ESP, Elixir, Morley and Kordex. On these shows NYC started working with Jagermeister, which provided extra promotion and hype... "Thinkin' and Drinkin' Jager."
Also, Furman Sound (where Tommy was performing at NAMM in 2003 and again in 2004) recently released a full European-Asian-Australian-Canadian press release on their awesome SPB-8 pedal board. This release included Tommy's photo with a quote and info about NYC which was sent worldwide!
Furman also released an ad featuring Tommy, Sam Rivers (Limp Bizkit) and Jack Cassidy among others (see Endorser page). Furman also featured his "NYC ESP Eclipse" guitar in a giant Furman display ad at the 2004 NAMM show (see photo page).
Check out the May, 2004 issue of Guitar One Magazine. Tommy is featured in the Morley Pedals ad in addition to already being in the 2004 Morley catalog.

Following the tour, NYC with into pre-production for the new CD, writing rehearsing and recording at Extasy Studio with Mike Lazer engineering.
It was at this time that NYC caught the attention of Pat Amico, President of AEON Entertainment and owner of Studio Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). Amico was so blown away with the band that he offered them a full spec deal to record at his studio (where Wayne Newton and Englebert Humperdink among others have recorded). NYC headed out to Studio Vegas and with Robert Root at the controls began to put down an album’s worth of extreme music. Currently the CD is in the mix-down phase of the recording process.
So, with a fierce new CD on the way, another tour in the works and a staggering 19 full endorsements backing them, 2003 promises to be and insane year as NYC goes full tilt and prepares to take it over the top.
